Amy Watts winner of Miss La Paz pageant

Amy Watts was this year’s winner at the Miss La Paz County scholarship pageant, announced at the La Paz County Fair Saturday night.

Amy won the Talent and Interview portions of the pageant. The first runner-up was Alisha Cruz, who won the Swimsuit portion (in a tie) and the ‘Neat as a Pin’ portion. Stephanie Lee picked up the Quality of Life, Director’s Award, Miss Sweetheart and Swimsuit (tie) portions. Charlee Torres was recognized with On Stage Personality, Spirit Award, Evening Wear, Non Finalist Interview and Non Finalist Talent. Leah Miller was named Miss Photogenic.

Amy will be going on to compete in the Miss Arizona pageant in the state capital later this year.
