The Parker Public Library will be honoring our veterans on Tuesday, November 9th from 3 – 5 p.m. If anyone has military memorabilia, such as photographs, letters, uniforms, medals, insignias, etc. that they would like to lend to the library for the Appreciation Day, please contact Jeannie or Tammy at 928-669-2622. They will be displayed in locked glass cases. The deadline to submit is October 28th.
Military servicemen, past and present, and the general public will be able to visit and share memories, experiences, and personal mementos. All are welcome to come in and just say “Thanks” to those who protect our freedom. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
