Traffic jammed on I-10 to LA

All westbound lanes are blocked at this hour on I-10 west of Parker going toward Orange County/Los Angeles. A semi has turned over with one fatality with a hazardous spill between Palm Springs and Cabazon, blocking all westbound lanes and creating what one driver reporting to KLPZ calls “the worst traffic jam I’ve ever been in”. California Highway Patrol says the traffic is backed up for miles, since there are no side roads around this crash. Motorists in the Parker area should take I-40 north of Lake Havasu City instead.
