Army Captain expresses thanks for Parker care packages

Captain Mei-Ling Fye at US Army Forward Operating Base Wilson in Afghanistan expresses thanks for Parker’s Christmas for the Troops program in her latest newsletter email:

“We just got over 100 boxes for our Soldiers from a community in Arizona who came together and packed boxes for us! We’ll do a story on that for the next newsletter! Thank you Mr. Risen and your volunteers for those boxes! We are getting a group of Soldiers together and distributing the goodies into boxes and putting Soldiers names on them, so everyone will get a package with their own name on it! We are trying hard to find a way to make Soldiers feel appreciated and remembered during Christmas.”
