Best In The Desert founder Casey Folks is in Parker, AZ today ahead of this weekend’s Epic/BlueWater Gran Prix race featuring motorcycles, quads and UTVs.
The annual race features a unique course with pits at the beach at BlueWater Resort & Casino along the Colorado River, which will be appreciated by racers and fans with temps this weekend forecast at around 95 degrees.
Casey’s remarks about the race reflect the fun he expects during Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s event:
This is a fun racecourse and the Motorcycle, Quad and UTV racers are going to love it. The Gran Prix is going to have some water crossings, some pavement, sand washes, fast sections and technical sections; it’s a very unique course, it’s got something for everyone!
We had a lot of positive comments about the Gran Prix course, everyone loved pitting along the Colorado River, so bring your boats, your inner-tubes and have a great day racing your race vehicle and cooling off in the beautiful Colorado River! I am asking YOU, the Motorcycle, Quad and UTV community to help recruit your race friends and get the word out that this is going to be an exciting, unique, challenging and fun event.
