DUI conviction

La Paz County Attorney Press Release

On May 6, 2011, a La Paz County jury convicted Martin William Dreager, 50, of Lake Havasu City, AZ, of DUI. Dreager received five days in jail, two years probation, a fine of $2,327.00 and he will have to install an ignition interlock device in any vehicle he operates for one year.

The case was heard in the Parker Justice Court with Judge Charlene Weis presiding. The case was prosecuted by Deputy County Attorney Dan Terrell. The investigation was conducted by Officer P. J. McCabe of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

On February 12, 2010, Dreager was stopped for a speeding violation on State Route 95, at Mile Post 155. An investigation revealed Dreager was driving his vehicle with a .142 blood alcohol content, well over the legal limit of .08.
