Cenpatico seeking grant applications

Imagine receiving a financial grant to do good things for your community such as helping to build a new family shelter or creating a water splash park for children.

Those are just some of the things that have happened because of a commitment by Cenpatico of Arizona to give back to the communities it serves. Proposals are now being accepted for Cenpatico’s Community Reinvestment Funds. Local leaders and community organizations are encouraged to apply.

“Cenpatico, as a partner with each of the communities we serve, is excited for the opportunity to give back and improve the lives of those we serve,” said Terry Stevens, Chief Executive Officer of Cenpatico of Arizona.

Under its new contracts with the Arizona Department of Health Services, Cenpatico has committed to giving back a percentage of its after-tax profits for community reinvestment.

Cenpatico currently holds contracts for three Geographical Service Areas (GSAs) in Arizona. The Community Reinvestment Fund program will make awards for each service area, and could consist of numerous smaller awards or one large award in each area.

The deadline to submit a proposal is June 20, 2011. A final decision on the grants will be made by July 15.
