7:11am– Another violent storm knocked down 10 power poles last night, leaving Quartzsite without power. APS advises that the cooling center at 665 W Tyson Street (1st Assembly of God Church) is open. Updates to follow via Twitter @APSOutageCenter.
7:14am– Via Nixle: Power is out in Bouse and Quartzsite AZ due to a storm last night and should be restored by later this evening. Dry ice will be at Bouse General Store and Shell on Main street about 9:30 or 10am. All roads are open in La Paz County; please drive with care.
8:09am– Via APS Spokesperson Andrea Bereznak: Bouse: 223 customers out; 9 poles down; no firm estimated time of repair at this time; dry ice is being delivered to the Bouse General Store located at 27646 Hwy 72 and will be available by 9:30 – 10am. Quartzsite: 2012; 11 poles down at 3 separate locations; estimated time of repair Monday afternoon; dry ice is being delivered to the Shell gas station at Main Street and will be available for customers to pick up by 8:30-9am; cooling centers at Isaiah 58 Project and at First Assembly of God.
