An ADOT project will making driving over the railroad crossing at Riverside Drive more pleasant. Many complaints have been generated by motorists over the sharp edges at the crossing, which is at the busiest intersection in the Parker area.
Contractors will mill away the raised asphalt at the edges of the crossing starting on Monday, September 19th. ADOT expects the contractor to be onsite until Wednesday, September 21st.
The bridge project to mill and overlay Kofa Avenue between 2nd Street and California Avenue has also been delayed. MCM Construction now anticipates that they will begin work the first or second week of October.
How can the citizens smooth out the railroad job the elected AND non-elected officials (Hi Dan Field!) do everyday to the taxpayers of La Paz County? Seems to me this is far more important than a bump in the road!!!
