La Paz County Health Department has scheduled the last adult flu clinics. The clinics will be in Brenda: Thursday, November 10th from 1:00–2:00 pm at the Desert Gold RV Park and in Quartzsite: Monday, November 14th from 2:00–3:00pm at the QIA.
A ten dollar donation for the influenza vaccine is appreciated for the adult vaccine. There is very little wait time with the Health Department influenza vaccine clinics. The Health Department does not bill Medicare for the vaccine so the lines move quickly.
The health department also takes adult walk-ins at their Parker office: 1112 Joshua Ave, Suite 206 Monday – Thursday from 8 am–4 pm. We still have some children’s vaccine left – Tuesdays 8–11:30 am and 1–4 PM.
