Havasu fire captain dies in plane crash

FOX5 Las Vegas has confirmed that the Lake Havasu fire captain has perished in a plane crash, along with his family.

Don Mesisca — along with his wife Rosie and son Brett — was last seen at the Glendale Arizona Municipal Airport Sunday night.

Mohave County sheriff’s deputies located the wreckage of his downed aircraft at about 4:15 Wednesday in rough terrain near Alamo Lake, about 113 miles northwest of Phoenix.
