The Final Official Results of the Presidential Preference Election of February 28th, 2012 are in, and it appears La Paz County voters reflect national voters in the race for the GOP nomination.
Mitt Romney was the clear favorite of La Paz voters, with Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul coming in behind. This result reflects the current nationwide GOP delegate count, with Romney having 415, Santorum 176, Gingrich 105 and Paul 47, so far.
Other candidates (including Rick Perry, who pulled out of the race several weeks ago) received a few votes each in the county and are listed here as ‘Others’.
