Pedestrian improvements to be discussed at public meeting

The Arizona Department of Transportation and the Town of Parker are scheduled to hold a public information meeting to learn more about a project to enhance pedestrian access on the south side of California Avenue/State Route 95 Spur between Kofa Avenue and Seventh Street.

The project is in the early stages of design, according to ADOT, and would include new and improved curbs, gutters and sidewalks. It would also include a rest area near 2nd Street with park benches and trash receptacles, landscaping enhancements and other improvements.

The public is invited to attend the meeting on Wednesday, May 16th from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 1314 11th Street in Parker.
