Hi John,
I was sorry to read about the loss of Kato the K-9 officer. I thought it might be a good time to let the people of the county know about how much it costs to get a dog like Kato. Also information on how the dog continues their training with their officer partner as well as their different duties in schools and events with the general public. K-9 dogs are an invaluable investment for any peace officer group. They are the best bridge between law inforcement and the general public. I bet the good people of Parker and the visitors would be willing to donate some money to such a worthy cause. Further, there is nothing like a good dog story to get peoples minds off of Quartzsite 🙂
Thank you for your time,
Audrey
