Parts of the Parker area were without power again Saturday afternoon as powerful monsoon storms continued to roll through the region, knocking down power lines and keeping APS, BIA and WAPA crews busy trying to restore service to customers who lost it.
This follows flooding in normally dry washes and damage to some infrastructure, the details of which remain unclear. The storms caused flooding in Lake Havasu City last night, where one man is reported to have died in a flowing wash, his body recovered 2 miles downstream.
Further updates will follow in the coming days. Meantime, listen to KLPZ 1380am for Emergency Alert System announcements from the National Wrather Service, including flash flood warnings.
