Storm brings late afternoon power outages

A series of power outages rolled across La Paz County with a storm that downed some power poles and tripped some breakers, according to APS.

KLPZ 1380am was off the air for over half an hour while power was being reconnected, and a series of Emergency Alert System broadcasts warned of “deadly lightning” and damaging winds.

The storm is headed west.
