Five write-in candidates submit themselves for County Attorney

Five attorneys have submitted their names as write-in candidates for the office of La Paz County Attorney as the deadline closed at 5 p.m. today. This comes after present County Attorney Sam Vederman was appointed as Judge of the Superior Court, leaving the office open to write-in candidates only.

The following people are running for County Attorney:

• Stephen Lundell
• Martin Brannan
• Tony Rogers
• Glenn Buckelew
• Dan Field

Voters will need to fill in the oval next to the space to write in a name, and choose one of the above names to write into the space to count as a valid vote for that candidate. The person from the above list with the most valid votes is elected.
