Phillip Forbis: missing person

On March 2nd, Phillip Forbis was entered as a missing person. He was last seen at Roadrunner Bar on March 1st. Information later developed that Forbis may have fallen into the Colorado River that night.

Over the course of several days, Deputies from the La Paz County Sheriff’s Department have walked the shoreline from Roadrunner to Sundance, searched the desert and areas on the East side of Riverside Drive, conducted a shoreline and SONAR search by boat from Roadrunner to Moovalya Keys and put divers in the water to check under the docks at Roadrunner and the river bottom area. His cell phone had been pinged by his cell phone provider with negative results.

This is an ongoing investigation by the La Paz County Sheriff’s Department. Forbis is described as a white male adult, 5′ 5″ tall, blond hair, blue eyes and is 39 years old. He was last seen wearing tan Khaki pants, work boots and a black or dark gray sweatshirt.
