The body of 39 year-old Phillip Forbis was recovered on the Colorado River yesterday.
Forbis had been missing since February 28th and was last seen at Roadrunner Bar. His body was found near Patria Flats Day Use Area, around 6 miles north of the town of Parker, downstream from Roadrunner.
Sheriff’s Department official had used sonar, dive teams, press releases, phone records and search teams to look for Forbis, to no avail.
The cause of death is under investigation.
