The cable provider Suddenlink stopped using an old server name today, which resulted in some confusion and lack of internet connectivity for some customers in the Parker area. The good news is that a simple change can fix the problem.

Suddenlink inherited some old DNS Servers from NPG Cable. The company finally unplugged them this morning. If your computer or internet device suddenly lost its connection to Suddenlink internet this morning, updating the DNS information may be all you need to get back up and running.

Under your computer’s internet connection settings, make sure the DNS information is as follows:

  • Primary DNS: 208.180.42.100
  • Secondary DNS: 66.76.175.100
