A fire broke out Saturday night and was attended by local agencies at Windmill Resort on the California side of the Parker Strip (opposite La Paz County Park).
Initial reports are that the fire involves up to 25 storage units and that nobody has been injured.

I believe these same storages burned about 30 years ago when I was on the Big River Fire Dept. They had no fire walls between units then, so several burned. It was somebody pouring gas in a carburator on a buggy trying to start it.
I wonder if it was similar this time.
