To the Editor: Obituary for Beau Johnston

Web

Beau passed away unexpectedly while on vacation with his family in Las Vegas due to a genetic defect that affected his heart. In 1980 Beau was born in Phoenix and raised in Parker, where he chose to stay and raise his family. He graduated from Parker High School in 1999.

Everyone that knew Beau always noticed his happy disposition and the smile on his face. It was like he had a song in his heart. Beau was a fun loving guy that could always break up a tense moment with his good sense of humor. He really had a zest for life.

Beau cherished his relationship with his God, Jehovah, and always tried to be the best Christian that he could. His life revolved around his worship, family, friends and his sharing the good news with others.

He found the love of his life in Melissa, his wife of 9 years. Their love produced a son. Beau delighted in being a father. He is survived by his precious wife, son, and parents, Lance and Chris. Additionally he will be missed by his Grandpa, Great Aunts and a Great Uncle, Aunts, Uncles, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Beau had worked as a carpet technician with Laser Brite, for many years where he eventually became the manager, and in the last 18 months had become the owner.

Beau developed an appreciation of the outdoors from his father and loved camping with his little family. He was passing his hobby of fishing on to his son. Recently, they as a family enjoyed going to Take a Kid Fishing.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11th @ 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 12th and Navajo.

Beau was a bright light in his family and he will be truly missed. We yearn for the day when all of Beau’s hopes will be realized when he is resurrected back to this earth and he, his family and friends will be reunited.
