Are you interested in taking a summer class, but limited by your budget? Do you need a little extra incentive to get off the couch this summer? The AWC Foundation wants to help out, with $10,000 in scholar awards being given out in four days.
Interested La Paz County residents should fill out an AWC Foundation Summer Scholars Award and submit it by email by 10am on Monday, May 20th. Each award will be for one class (1 – 4 credit hours) of in-state tuition.
The awards will not be merit-based, so there is no need to prove GPA, declared major or financial need. Students need merely look at the list of current summer classes available (link HERE, search by Summer in upper left corner).
The Foundation will draw two names from La Paz County. The awards will be drawn on Monday, May 20th and will then be made available through the AWC Business Office the same afternoon.
