The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin bridge repairs on Interstate 10 at Tom Wells Road (Exit 5) east of Ehrenberg beginning Monday, June 3.
Work will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday throughout the month. During work hours, westbound I-10 will exit and re-enter the highway at Tom Wells Road (Exit 5). Drivers should obey all posted signs and speed limits through the detour. Law enforcement will be on-site to control traffic and monitor speeds.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
