Storm aftermath: Parker residents evaluate damage

After a particularly severe monsoon storm blew through the town of Parker Thursday, residents went about picking up the pieces, literally. Roofing, trees, windows, vehicles, awnings and at least one aircraft were all reportedly damaged in the heavy winds, with the flooding from 1.15 inches of rain dumped on the town within a 25-minute period forcing closed roads. Power went out for many homes and businesses and KLPZ 1380am was off the air for more than 1.5 hours.
