JoAnne Ehasz was sworn in Thursday as the newest governing board member of Arizona Western College, appointed as Randy Hartless’s replacement in the position.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by AWC’s President Dr. Glenn E. Mayle, Dean for La Paz County Rich Tozer, La Paz County Schools Superintendent Janice Shelton, Parker Mayor Dan Beaver, County Supervisor D.L. Wilson and others.
Ehasz’ appointment is effective Thursday through December 31st, 2014. She will join Melissa Wright in representing La Paz County on the board. Wright was elected in 2012.
Randy Hartless, who resigned in May, was in attendance and was thanked for his service on the board by Dr. Mayle and presented with a Certificate of Appreciation.
