Man found deceased on New Years, believed to be natural causes

A 28 year old man on a journey across the country was found dead at Flying J truck stop in Ehrenberg, AZ last week.

On January 1st at approximately 11:15 a.m., Robert James Parsons from Holly, Michigan was found deceased in bed in his motorhome after his friends were unable to contact him, according to La Paz County Sheriff’s Office. Parsons had stopped to camp with friends near the Colorado River. He had been suffering from undisclosed medical issues and law enforcement believes his death to be due to natural causes.

Parsons’ next of kin was notified and an autopsy will be performed as a precautionary measure.
