UPDATE: Power restored at 12:46pm.
A power outage has been affecting the towns of Parker, Quartzsite and Bouse since around 11:35am.
The cause is believed to be a failure at Blackpeak substation. John Croteau at APS said he hoped the situation could be resolved soon but he was still getting information.
In the meantime drivers are urged to use caution at intersections without working traffic lights and use other routes where possible.
