The Town of Parker is making a change in trash collection services. The Town has been assisting our community with the collection and disposal of solid waste for many years. The Town of Parker intends to increase opportunities for commercial and industrial property owners in acquiring solid waste collection and disposal services.

Effective August 1, 2014, commercial and industrial properties will be able to contract with waste haulers directly to arrange for solid waste collection and disposal services. Business managers, operators and owners will want to contact a qualified solid waste management service company to contract for these important services. Commercial and industrial properties are responsible for making sure that solid waste is collected and disposed in accordance with Town code and Arizona State Statute. Solid Waste is more commonly known as trash or garbage—consisting of everyday items we use and then throw away, such as product packaging, grass clippings, furniture, clothing, bottles, food scraps, newspapers, and appliances without A/C condensers.

The Town will continue to exclusively assist our residential community with solid waste removal consistent with the currently level of service that includes scheduled bulk trash drop off events. Residential solid waste collection and disposal services arrangements can be made with the Town of Parker by calling (928) 669-9265. Residential trash collection arrangements can also be made by visiting Town Hall located at 1314 11th Street. We are thankful to our solid waste management service partners for helping us provide this valuable service.

Please feel free to contact the Town of Parker Public Works Department (928) 669-9265 for more information about solid waste management services.
