We don’t think so.

Most understand Labor Day weekend to mark the end of the Summer fun. Of course, it’s also said to be the last time you should “wear white” so how can we fully believe the hype?! We can’t and we shouldn’t because there is still plenty of Summer left on the river. On average both the air and water temps remain ideal for on-the-water fun well into the month of October.

Those of us who spent Labor Day weekend on the Parker Strip enjoyed seasonal temps and mostly sunny skies. Countless families and friends spent their extended weekend wakeboarding, surfing, skiing, and boating in the ever flowing waters of the Colorado River.

Saturday, September 6th was the 8th annual Show & Shine at Castle Rock Shores. This yearly event showcases classic cars, boats, and a few other surprises all from the beautiful shoreline views of Castle Rock Shores.
