Viewfinder: Bridge repaving

Paving and other finishing work takes place at the new four-lane bridge between Parker, AZ and Earp, CA with CalTrans anticipating the opening ceremony on October 1st at 10 a.m. Construction will be wrapping up soon at the bridge, which has been in progress for well over 3 years and was projected to cost around $40 million.

    I miss that job it was the most memorable one I’ve been on in a long time. I met and worked with some great people. I wish I would’ve stayed and helped them finish.

  9. So it took five years to build the Hoover Dam in 1931 and three years to build a bridge in Parker.. Hmmmm…
