The Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge will be closed temporarily from April 6th until April 9th.
“We are putting down new gravel and regrading the parking lots,” said Catherine Bell at the Refuge. “We are also going to be repairing the non-motorized boat launch to make it easier for canoers and kayakers to load and unload their boats.”
The area will be closed for safety reasons. “The staff will be using heavy equipment and we will have dump trucks coming in and out delivering gravel.”
The closure affects the Refuge visitor center / headquarters area, along with the trails, fishing piers, and canoe / kayak launch.
Thanks
It’s really much prettier than that!
