Two big stories this week from the nearby town of Quartzsite:
(1) Thomas Daniel arrested for the first-degree murder of Quartzsite resident Linda Garrett three years ago. DNA evidence matching Thomas Daniel was taken from the deceased and processed by the DPS Crime Lab. Additional suspects may exist or develop. Story HERE.
(2) Two arrested for a drive-by shooting on May 16th which put a man in hospital with serious injuries. Ryan Rangel was charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault and Gloria Huerta was charged for hindering and facilitation of a fugitive. Story HERE.
