Better Business Bureau open for La Paz and Mohave Counties

A nonprofit organization focused on advancing marketplace trust is now operating in La Paz and Mohave counties.

The local director of the Better Business Bureau Elaine Cullen paid a visit to the morning show at KLPZ 1380am last week, saying she hopes the BBB presence here will give consumers good resources.

“We have some of the best free consumer resources on reputable companies, you can check out a company you want to do business with to see what others’ experiences are,” she said. “Our website has a lot of good information too, like industry tips on topics like hiring contractors, buying cars and that sort of thing.”

The Better Business Bureau office here opened last September in Lake Havasu, and Cullen says she wants to let people in La Paz County know that their services are there for them.

She said she also wants to draw attention to the website’s scam tracker, where people can find out about known scams in their area.
