El Niño-related storms came thick and fast all week long to the entire region, and for desert communities, such prolonged rain is certainly unusual. KLPZ’s weather station faithfully recorded the rainfall all week long, and gave us a total Friday to report.
The total rainfall for the week came in at 89 one-hundredths of an inch of rain, considered a lot for Parker, AZ in one week. A slight chance of showers remains this weekend, but the good money is on it being dry and temperate.
The desert may be fun to ride in after the rains, and that’s exactly what racers and fans are looking forward to with the Best In The Desert Parker 250. Details HERE.

Thanks for the report.
Not much rain just wind and clouds.
