Appeals Court judges visit Parker

Three judges from the Arizona Court of Appeals visited Parker Friday for an event on Continuing Legal Education, attended by local judges and attorneys.

The La Paz County Public Defender’s Office hosted the event with the distinguished presenters, the Hon. Andrew Gould, Hon. Kenton Jones and Hon. Samuel Thumma of the Court of Appeals, Division 1. Attorneys from La Paz and Mohave Counties and other court staff were there to hear material covering recent rulings from the appeals court in various cases of civil, criminal and juvenile law, and also informing the attendees of the various changes in legal rules and procedure.

All attendees received a Certificate of Attendance, endorsed by Superior Court Judge the Hon. Samuel Vederman and Hon. Andrew Gould. Their attendance is recorded with the Arizona State Bar.
