Three Parker girls are competing in the Miss Arizona and Miss Arizona’s Outstanding Teen pageants later this month after winning local pageants earlier this year.
Allayzia Brault, Guadalupe Balderrama and Hailey Ferris will compete in private interview, fitness, talent, evening gown, and on stage question categories. Allayzia will be doing a tap dance for her talent and her platform is Promoting Children’s Literacy. Guadalupe will be doing a folkloric dance for her talent and her platform is Faces of Adoption. Hailey Ferris will be doing a character jazz dance for her talent and her platform is Live to Fight: Living with Adolescent Depression.
Parker teen Rosie Fredricksen will also be competing at the state pageant with the title of Miss Pima County’s Outstanding Teen. The winner of the state pageant will go on to compete at the Miss America Pageant, the world’s largest provider of scholarships for young women.
Five young girls will also be attending to participate in the state princess program. They are Olivia Taylor, Andrea DeLeon, Cali Booth, Brooklyn Daniels, and Courtney Marchbanks.
The Miss Arizona Pageant takes place June 23-25 at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, AZ. Tickets can be purchased HERE. One contestant in the top 11 is selected by the public and named the People’s Choice Winner. Go HERE to vote.
Allayzia and Guadalupe were crowned Miss La Paz County and Miss La Paz County’s Outstanding Teen in March at the County Fair. Hailey Ferris was crowned Miss Parker at a second pageant in April.
