Two separate planned power outages are scheduled for Monday, October 24th as APS crews do some work on Parker area infrastructure. The outages are expected to last for around 15 minutes each.
“It’ll affect the Parker area, basically everybody north of BlueWater Resort & Casino,” an APS spokesperson told Parker Live.
The first outage is planned for around 7am, and will permit crews to temporarily make a switch to feed the Upriver area from the Southern California Edison grid, allowing APS to work on a “compromised structure” for several hours. The second outage is planned for around 4pm and will facilitate the switch back to the APS grid.
