A motivational speaker is to talk to the Parker business community this week on the subjects, ‘Leadership for Business Success’ and ‘Customer Service: Inside and Out’.
David Aaker is an internationally recognized motivational keynote speaker, trainer and author in customer service, leadership and communication. He has been invited by the Parker Regional Chamber of Commerce and Tourism to give two seminars on Wednesday and Thursday at BlueWater Resort & Casino.
‘Customer Service: Inside and Out’ is described as a “lively and interactive two-hour workshop designed to inspire employees with tested methods to improve customer service to make positive changes that will stimulate growth.”
Wednesday’s event is a luncheon.
Aaker has been in Chamber management for over 35 years. He served in organizational management as a Chamber of Commerce President and CEO from 1981 to 2004. He is a 1989 graduate of the United States Chamber of Commerce Institute of Organization Management at Bounder, Colorado.
By invitation from the U.S. Chamber, David has been a faculty member for over 14 years for the Institute program and teaches courses on management, leadership, customer service and ethics for nonprofit organizations and associations at five universities nationwide.
David’s nationwide clients include State Departments of Tourism, American Indian resorts and casinos, hotels, state and local chambers of commerce, CVBs, the U.S. Air Force, associations, organizations, municipal and sovereign nation governments in North America and private sector companies.
