On Monday and Tuesday, some streets in the town of Parker will be partially closed for maintenance.
The streets will be treated by scrub sealing for preservation, which involves applying hot asphalt emulsion and crushed rock aggregate to the roadway, helping to fill cracks and other pavement distresses. This is done by sweeping the street to remove dirt and debris, applying the asphalt emulsion, placing aggregate on the emulsion then compacting it with rollers.
The streets will be partially closed during the work. Traffic control devices will provide warnings to motorists. Road users are advised to use caution when driving around the affected areas during the work.
Street re-striping will be carried out on Thursday, June 7th and Friday, June 8th, according to the Town of Parker, weather-permitting.
