UPDATE, July 21st: The death of Johnny Beckham has been designated a homicide. A warrant has now been issued for Brian Dunnan’s arrest. Original story below.

A person of interest in the June 29th death of Johnny Beckham, identified several days ago as Brian Douglas Dunann, has not yet been located.
What we know from official sources
Dunann is believed by law enforcement to have fled the area shortly after Beckham was shot a single time at a residence on Dreamy Lane in the Lakeside 5 subdivision north of Parker. Beckham later died from his injury in hospital. Dunann’s family vacation home is two doors down from Beckham’s in the 10000 block.
According to the La Paz County Sheriff’s Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit, Dunann is believed to have gotten into his black 2004 Range Rover with clear tail light covers and a temporary California tag of “AX20E61” and, on the basis of “credible information”, driven himself out of town.
The Department says it has been following up on many leads on Dunann’s whereabouts, including a location identified in the desert near Cienega Springs where they believe there has been no recent activity. On Tuesday, the Department flew the area by helicopter and did not locate the Range Rover or a red Nissan Pathfinder tied to Dunann by members of the public.
Instead, detectives say they believe Dunann may be in California, where he has a home and known associates in the town of Whittier, east of Los Angeles. Although they “highly doubt” he is still in the Parker area, the detectives working the case continue to follow up on local leads. If seen, Dunann should be considered armed and dangerous.

As information spreads throughout the community, some have said they know Dunann. Nicknamed “Quiet Brian” due to his low mumble, he is older-looking than his driver’s license photo released by law enforcement, and additional, more recent photos have circulated from his public Facebook profile (above, where he is pictured brandishing a firearm).
According to the profile, he graduated from Sierra High School in 1981, which would make him around 58 years old. He is said to have long hair now, past his shoulders. Some claim to have seen him at Walmart in Parker as recently as last weekend, though these sightings have not been confirmed by law enforcement and they have credible accounts to the contrary.
Other areas he is connected to: Lake Havasu City, Riverside and Whittier.

Okay So Why Hasn’t La Paz County Sheriffs Contacted Whittier Ca Sheriffs department and told them what’s going on and that the believe he is there and have his house in Whittier Ca . Look it’s been a month and no new update in papers nothing on news and other sheriffs departments in other states and County didn’t even hear anything about Johnny’s case and I know this for a fact until someone made it aware to them by giving other sheriffs in other counties and states fliers and they said they haven’t heard anything about this case but they do now..

Hey Anonymously Pissed so you are saying you heard where he’s been staying ? that’s with holding info from a murder investigation , even if you heard it from some one else or even a third or forth party which means any of those people seen him or know where he is , or are you just guessing ? Brian would not just walk up to someone and shoot them for no reason. It could have been an accident. It could have been a mistake. Maybe he panicked and ran. If no one was there to witness then then no one knows the truth, yet. I know Brian well and he’s not a stone cold killer. I feel very bad for the mans family. Its all so sad.

Joe- Firearm accidents are responsible for around 500 deaths a year, so that’s not quite true. It happens. I’m not saying it happened here — we don’t know what happened here – but there is a non-zero chance of it happening.

I do read a lot of social media and I have yet to read anything confirmed from an eye witness also I may be mistaken but I do believe what I did read was that he was conscious and there no comment of who he said did it , I agree with Trish.
Again all you people need to read MORE social media websites , This is a quote from one of Johnny’s relatives : Alyssa Sherratt. *There is way more info we can’t disclose pending the investigation. But he is the main and only suspect.* When an incident occurs the first one on scene is the police UNTIL all threats are cleared then the medics and the the first thing police ask is who did it and why so I’m pretty sure Johnny told them other wise they would be looking for someone else.

It’s Been Almost 8 months since Johnny B got murdered And Still no one in custody for his murder and there not even trying to find who killed Johnny it’s so sad everyday his baby boy has to wake up and go to sleep asking and wondering why the man who killed hos father hasn’t been caught and is getting away with murder and living his life how he wants to while Johnny’s life was taken from him and was taken from his son and his family and close friends it donesnt matter what the motive was all that matters is the person killed him in cold blood for no good reason and took his life and should be behind bars but the person responsible for his death is getting to live his life freely and getting away with it because the cops nobody is really doing a damn thing to catch his killer. I know the victims family ,and I’ve been investigating things on my own since Johnny died . And I’ve been giving all my information to Johnnys aunts , and other family members . I’ve talked to multiple people , including the indevidual , where Johnny was , right before he was shot . And to this day NO DETECTIVES , have gone to this persons residence , and they spent less than an hour at the crime scene . In the police report issued by Parker pd , they stated that Brian dunnans door was open when they got to the scene , when they finally entered it , there was a gun out on a table in the home , and the sheriffs dept didn’t even take it , they just left it there , hmmm, red flag . The sheriffs dept has had a vendetta against Johnny since 2016 , when he was accused of selling drugs , and because someone had a problem with Johnny at the time , it caused Johnnys house to get raided , and when the cops left his home after the raid with nothing to show , the sheriffs dept was obviously pissed off , and that day, before leaving his home, “ heat task force “ told Johnnys girlfriend at the time , and I quote “ we’re here to get rid of all the trash in Parker , starting with Johnny Beckham . “ and at the scene , the night Johnny was shot , told the victims family member in front of witnesses that , and I quote “ johnny Beckham is a piece of shit , we needed to get him off the street “ . Five years later , seriously ? Johnny has never sold drugs , yes , Johnny consumed them privately , and to this day has no prior drug record . I have reason to believe Johnnys house was being robbed , and Brian Dunanns house , when Johnny got home , the theifs shot Johnny because he came home , obviously at the wrong time . I have reason to believe Brian Dunann wasn’t even home at the time , and the only reason there’s a warrant for him , is simply because Brian Dunann hasn’t been questioned yet , and I don’t believe , like the rest of our family , that the detectives are doing anything to find him , I think there just gonna wait till he gets pulled over one day , which could take a very long time , meanwhile , basically feeding everyone bullshit , saying it’s a top priority . If the detectives , would stop being biased, and go question the three individuals who live on the same street as Johnny , who didn’t hear the gunshot , when it was heard all the way over on the front street of bean pot hill , by a family member who was outside at the time , also these people were suppose to be good friends with johnny , and who didn’t attend Johnnys service , and who also put out false info about what Brian Dunann was driving ,which was a red pathfinder , also being the people who threw out “ quite Brian “ , keep in mind the day of the service , this was being said on justice for Johnny . . And was overheard by a co-worker on a job site speaking out loud to this persons , which I have reason to believe is the accomplice, to the shooting . Saying out loud that he has been in contact , with Brian Dunann since the shooting . Which I believe that it’s possible that they were keeping Brian from coming back , telling him basically that he’s in deep shit , and wanted for murder , so he won’t show up to say that he wasn’t home that night , simply to keep the heat off the actual suspects , besides , Brian also probably knows when he’s picked up that Parker has a 90% or more conviction rate , and there showing signs of being biased. So yeah I probably wouldn’t come back to turn my self in just yet either . Especially without an attorney . Bottom line is , there are two or more people involved , and it’s not Brian Dunann . And I blame the shooter , and also sgt Draper , for not assisting Johnny at the scene till the medics arrived , which falls on the La Paz county sheriffs dept as well . Because their biased, and by not following protocol. Oh , can somebody please tell me , how “ ponce “ became the county sheriff , when he was just under investigation for sex acts in a county law enforcement vehicle, just prior to becoming sherriff, I know that anybody that knows that , wouldn’t even think about voting him in to office . Or maybe the voting for the county sherriff is corrupt as well . Like I said this info has all been said to the family , and the family has made attempts to tell the sherriffs dept , I don’t know if they listened , I’m gonna say probably not . Well maybe Parker live will help do the right thing by simply not being “ biased “ , and just doing the right thing by maybe asking questions about local law inforcement in La Paz county .
