A man was arrested in Big River while riding a stolen ATV. Charles Taylor, 44 of Big River, had an existing warrant for assault.
On Thursday, April 28th, at approximately 4:05 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Colorado River Station conducted a traffic stop on an ATV at the intersection of Del Rey Drive and Papago Trail in Big River. A records check on the rider, Charles Taylor, revealed a misdemeanor warrant for PC240 Assault, with a $25,000 bail. A check of the vehicle’s idenification number indicated it was reported stolen from Santa Ana, CA.
As a result of the investigation, Charles Taylor was arrested for PC496(d)-Possession of Stolen Property. Taylor was booked into the Colorado River Station jail where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
