Power to Quartzsite was restored on 8/29/12 at 11:30 pm. Crews continue replacing the poles today while the line is energized.

APS has informed Parker Live that power in the town of Quartzsite may be out until tomorrow (Thu) afternoon. Dry ice is now available at the Shell gas station at Highway 95 and Main Street in Quartzsite. APS is working on setting up a cooling center which will be open for everyone.
