Photo: Anthony N. A semi burned on Highway 72 south of Bouse Sunday evening. Occupants got out safely according to eyewitnesses, and no other vehicles were involved. The Sheriff’s Office, Department of Public Safety and Bouse Fire Department were on scene. The highway was closed for a short time before reopening.

A forklift inadvertently dragged down a power pole around 11:57am on Friday, putting KLPZ radio off the air and leaving an outage between 6th and 18th Streets. A transformer caught fire, according to Parker Police Department. Power is now restored in at least some of the area.
