Traffic tailback through town of Parker

California Avenue is busy most days in the town of Parker, but today is especially difficult for motorists needing to come and go via the bridge to Highway 62.

Repaving work on the westbound lanes of California Avenue north of Riverside Drive has pushed traffic onto the other two lanes. This is causing delays and a current tailback of westbound traffic about one mile long, from around 18th Street to around 4th Street.

Construction is planned all week (see HERE for more details).

Drivers should plan accordingly.
