Local businesses were urging caution Wednesday as they reported getting ‘stung’ by counterfeit $100 and $20 bills. The serial numbers of the $100 bill were reported to start with ‘KK’. One observer said the bills “didn’t feel right” to touch, and people should be vigilant and use their discretion when accepting cash.
