After a great season last year, the Parker Broncs football team is in constant preparation for the next one, which begins in August.
Team coach Jeston Lotts told Parker Live about a few of the things the team is doing to get ready:
“We have been teaching a leadership class and doing speed and agility Monday through Thursday at 7am. We also have had the incoming freshmen in the weight room so they are ready to go this summer,” Lotts said. “Spring Ball is coming up soon and it seems that the boys are very excited to get started. We will be running summer weights again starting in June and we will be heading up to our Seligman Camp in July.”
Morale is high since 2014’s successes, which propelled the Broncs through to the playoffs. “Last season was the best record Parker had had in quite some time,” Lotts added. “It was nice to have such great support from the community and to have them rally around the boys like they did. We ended up being the #9-ranked team in the state and making the playoffs. We look to build on that progress this season.”
