Marina Village to be without water as power goes out

The Marina Village Annex will be without water Monday night as APS conducts a scheduled power outage at the same time, according to Brooke Water.

“Operations reports that a water service interruption is necessary for [Marina Village Annex] in order for Arizona Public Service (APS) to make necessary system maintenance,” Brooke Water stated in a notice. “Ops has been advised that APS will make every attempt to restore power as soon as possible but the power outage has been scheduled for 12 hrs. The outage is set for 2200 hrs. tonight until 1000 hrs. in the morning. Only the Marina Village system will be affected by the power outage.”

Brooke Water will have water available at Buckskin Fire Station and their own offices and it will be available throughout the entire outage.

“In addition to the bottled water a non-potable water truck will be placed at the Marina Village treatment plant for Brooke customers’ non-potable water needs (THE WATER IN THE TRUCK IS NOT CONSUMABLE). Further updates will be provided by email and postings on our Facebook page.”
