Man arrested at traffic stop in Earp

A man was arrested in Earp during a traffic stop for possession of multiple narcotics and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

On Monday at approximately 11:23 pm, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department contacted Ivan Rasho, 37 of Earp, during a traffic enforcement stop near Highway 62 and Parker Dam Road.

During the course of the investigation, Rasho was found to be in possession of two loaded firearms and ammunition. Rasho is a felon and is prohibited from being in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Rasho was also found to be in possession of multiple narcotics.

He was arrested for the charges and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Rasho remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $40,000, awaiting a court hearing.
