Drawdown in effect on the river
The Bureau of Reclamation says it has lowered Lake Moovalya (the Colorado River at Parker and the Parker Strip) by one foot in its annual drawdown. The water should return to its normal levels by January 22nd. People using the river should be aware of more exposed sandbars, rocks etc. as they navigate the water.
